How To Reach

JNR is conveniently located on the Mussoorie-Dhanolti road, just a few kilometres from the centre of Mussoorie. If you are staying in Musoorie, you can take a taxi or drive to the entrance of the Reserve. Parking space is available outside the entrance. It takes about 30 minutes to get here from the Library end of Mussoorie and 15 minutes from Picture Palace or Landour by car. You need to drive past Woodstock School, and a couple of kilometres later you will reach the small settlement of Jabarkhet. The entrance of JNR is just 500m from here and you will see the sign, fence and entrance to your left.

If you are coming from Dehradun, you need to take the Dhanolti road a few kilometres before reaching Mussoorie. This road bypasses Mussoorie town and after about 5km, will bring you to a junction called Bataghat. From Bataghat, take a U turn and drive back towards Mussoorie (not towards Dhanolti). Just about 200 metres from this junction, you will see the sign and entrance of JNR to your right.
